Welcome to Math with Mr. Glaze

7th CC Accelerated

Math 7 ACC is an advanced course that combines both 7thand 8th grade Common Core standards. This course will prepare your student for Common Core Algebra1. Our goal is to make sure your child has a successful year. We can accomplish this goal by having the parent, student, and teacher work together.


7th CC

Math 7 CC focuses on four critical areas: (1) developing understanding of and applying proportional relationships; (2) developing understanding of operations with rational numbers and working with expressions and linear equations; (3) solving problems involving scale drawings and informal geometric constructions, and working with two- and three-dimensional shapes to solve problems involving area, surface area, and volume; and (4) drawing inferences about populations based on samples.  


8th CC

Math 8 CC focuses on five critical areas: (1) using proportional relationships to solve and graph linear functions; (2) solving problems involving congruence and similarity; (3) analyzing bivariate data; (4) working with real number operations; (5) defining and solving systems of linear equations.
