Welcome to Math with Mr. Glaze

7th CC

Math 7 CC focuses on four critical areas: (1) developing understanding of and applying proportional relationships; (2) developing understanding of operations with rational numbers and working with expressions and linear equations; (3) solving problems involving scale drawings and informal geometric constructions, and working with two- and three-dimensional shapes to solve problems involving area, surface area, and volume; and (4) drawing inferences about populations based on samples.

8th CC

Math 8 CC focuses on five critical areas: (1) using proportional relationships to solve and graph linear functions; (2) solving problems involving congruence and similarity; (3) analyzing bivariate data; (4) working with real number operations; (5) defining and solving systems of linear equations.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns about the class your child is in or your child's progress in the class, please feel free to email or call.  I want to make sure that this year's mathematics experiences are enjoyable and promote a firm understanding of mathematics
